The first international wine art festival will be held on October 5 in the courtyard of the house-Museum of Vladimir Mayakovsky
in the village bagdati near Kutaisi, where the poet was born.
Guests of the event will be presented endemic grape varieties, that is, grown in a particular area and made from these berries wine. In total, more than 30 manufacturers will take part in the festival.
In addition to tasting and stories about the technique of making the drink, the audience will be waiting for a concert with the participation of folk ensembles, as well as an exhibition and sale of handmade products of local masters.
The organizers of the festival tried to combine wine and art in one location.
In addition, guests will learn about the traditions of the wine industry in the region, will be able to join the culture of Georgia and get acquainted with its musical and creative heritage.
