An Alpine Botanical garden will be opened in the Adjara mountains on July 30.

he Alpine Botanical garden will officially open on July 30 at an altitude of 1960 meters above sea level, not far from the resort of Goderdzi on the territory of "Shkernali". The gardener of the Botanical garden of the German city of Munich is working on the arrangement of the Botanical garden in the Alpine zone together with Georgian specialists. The garden features a variety of plants typical of the Alpine and subalpine zones, as well as picnic and camping areas. The Goderdzi Alpine garden includes a total of 15 zones, including the beekeeping zone, where you can get acquainted with the unique tradition of wild honey production. In addition, on an area of 200 square meters, there is a rock garden-a composition of stones that merge with plants.
