"Georgia will be one of the first countries to open safe corridors with other countries and the flow of tourists will be restored again," economy Minister Natia Turnava said today at the presentation of the anti — crisis plan for tourism support. The Minister said that everything should be done to ensure that the tourism business and industry in Georgia are ready to meet the new requirements of the post-pandemic period. Turnava stressed that the tourism sector is one of the industries that today needs help and support. On behalf of Prime Minister George Gakhari, the Ministry of economy is working on a specific anti-crisis plan to support tourism — the plan is already being developed and will be announced after approval by the government.
