Day 1 BAKU AZERBAIJAN

  • Arrival and meeting at the airport

Day 2 BAKU

  • Breakfast in the hotel;

Day 3 BAKU – SHAMAKHI - SHEKI

  • Breakfast in the hotel;
  • 09: 00 Check out and transfer to Shaki

Day 5: Haghartsin-Dilijan - Yerevan - City tour

  • Beginning of the tour in Bagratashen –Tbilisi border
  • The Haghartsin Monastery complex, founded in the 10th century by the Royal dynasty of Bagratunies, located in Dilijan town, Tavush Region. According to history, the monastery (Kirakos Gandzaketsi) was built during the 10th -13th century. It includes four churches: Saint Grigor (1244), Saint Astvatsatsin (1281), Saint Katoghike(12th century) and Saint Stephanos(1232), as well as two courtyards, a refectory, prayer halls and Khachkar cross-stones.
  • After visit in Dilijan, you will have lunch in ''Tufenkian Old Dilijan Complex''
  • After Dilijan, you will meet Yerevan - one of the oldest cities in the world, founded in 782 B.C. There you will start the walking and scenic city tour together with your tour guide. Day 6: History Museum of Armenia - Khor Virap monastery - Cathedral of Saint Ejmiatsin –‘'ARARAT'' brandy factory

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • After breakfast our guests will visit the History Museum of Armenia, where magnificent treasures of Armenian history are held.
  • After museum our guests will visit one of the 12 old capitals of Armenia-Ejmiatsin and the Cathedral of Saint Ejmiatsin, There is believe that, this is the first Christian church in the world, founded in 303 A.D. by Gregory the Illuminator
  • After visiting the Cathedral of St. Ejmiatsin, you will visit the Treasury Museum of Ejmiatsin, where very important Christian relics are kept.
  • After visiting the church, you will have a lunch break in Ejmiatsin ''Agape'' traditional restaurant.
  • After lunch, our guests will visit Khor Virap monastery- One of the most famous pilgrimage sites in Armenia. Christianity was adopted in 301 (As a state religion of Armenia) owing to the endeavors of Saint Gregory the Illuminator, who was imprisoned in the dungeon over which Khor Virap monastery was built. Our guests can admire the amazing view on the Biblical Mount of Ararat that unveils from the monastery
  • On the way back to Yerevan the group has the option to visit the ''ARARAT'' brandy factory.
  • After a little rest in the hotel you will have a dinner in ''Yerevan Pandok'' traditional restaurant with life music-show(dances and songs)
  • Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 7: Medieval Geghard monastery – Garni temple – Lake Sevan - Dilijan

  • Breakfast in the hotel;
  • 09:00 After breakfast, you will visit Garni temple (1st B.C.) and Garni castle ruins which used to be the residence of Armenian kings and the site of a pre-Christian, pagan temple honoring Mithra, the God of Sun.
  • After visiting the temple, you will visit the medieval monastery of Geghardavank known as the “Monastery of the Lance” (the Lance which had wounded Jesus Christ at the Crucifixion was being kept in the monastery for a long time). The part of the monastery is carved inside the rock.
  • You will have a lunch break in ''Garni Toun'' restaurant, where you can taste different traditional dishes ;
  • After lunch you will visit Sevanavank or “The Black monastery” medieval monastery, with a beautiful view on lake Sevan.
  • Transfer to the hotel and a check-in

Day 8: Dilijan - Bagratashen –Tbilisi border- Mtskheta – Gori- Uplistsikhe/

  • After check-out our bus will drive you back to Bagratashen –Tbilisi border;

Day 9 Tbilisi – Ananuri- Kazbegi

  • 9:00 Today we will have an exciting drive, heading north along the Georgian Military Highway into the high Caucasus Mountains. This is the main road running for 220 km from Tbilisi to Vladikavkaz in Russia, a spectacular highway that going through sheer mountains. name given by Tsar Alexander I, this Route actually dates from before the 1st century BC and is still important as one of the only links to Russia through the Caucasus Mountains.
