Day 1

  • Departure from Tbilisi at 9.00.
  • Let's go to the city of Borjomi - a visiting card of Georgia thanks to the amazing mineral water.
  • The central park of Borjomi, in which there is a source of warm mineral water. Not far from the park there is a sulfur spring, which has beneficial properties.
  • Let's enjoy the beauty of the city from a bird's eye view.
  • The Church of Seraphim of Sarov is a small temple erected in the name of Seraphim of Sarov, located on the site of a Georgian Orthodox church destroyed many centuries ago.
  • Architectural monument House of Mirza Riza Khan.
  • Sapara Monastery has existed since the 9th century. The monastery complex is included in the list of immovable cultural monuments of national importance in Georgia.
  • Transfer to Akhaltsikhe. Visit to Rabat Fortress. The history of which begins in the 9th century.
  • Let's go to the village of Chobareti. Where we will visit the unique production of Tenili cheese (listed in the UNESCO Intangible Heritage List.) The recipe was passed from mouth to mouth and survived only in this region.
  • You will get acquainted with the unique technologies of making cheese in a homemade small cheese factory!
  • Excursion, cheese making master class.
  • Master class on cooking Meskhetian khachapuri!
  • Feast in the house-museum with Georgian barbecue and national Georgian snacks, accompanied by wine and local apple chacha!
  • Overnight at the guest house. Where you can (if you wish) taste Qvevri beer.
  • Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 2

  • Breakfast ;
  • We will visit the Khertvisi fortress, one of the well-preserved fortresses, the mention of which is associated with the campaigns of Alexander the Great in the 4th century BC
  • Vardzia is a cave city carved into the bowels of a rock rising above the Kura River. The cave monastery complex of the 12th-13th centuries is considered an outstanding monument of medieval Georgian architecture.
  • Saro megaliths, where traces of cyclopean megalithic structures remained. The complex belongs to the Bronze Age. Dated approximately IV-III millennium BC.
  • Lake Paravani (height 2073 m above sea level). Picnic in the bosom of nature.
  • Lake Sagamo (in translation Evening) is located in the basin of the Paravani River, at an altitude of 1996 m above sea level.
  • Let's go to Tsalka to the Dashbashi canyon, which is of volcanic origin. You will see a group of cascading waterfalls. Walk along the suspension glass bridge in the center of which there is a cafe in the shape of a diamond!
  • Return to Tbilisi.
